Moving checklist
A practical list to help you agree the job and prepare. Updated 23 October 2026.
- 2–4 weeks before: list large items, photograph access routes and request your quote.
- Book the team and agree what is packed, dismantled and reassembled.
- Reserve lift/loading access with the building where needed. Check parking and vehicle height limits.
- Pack boxes by room. Keep valuables, documents, medication and keys with you.
- Empty appliances, prepare loose shelves and protect fragile items.
- On moving day, show the team both loading routes and identify items needing special care.
- At the destination, check the agreed work, furniture placement and any visible concerns together.
